Synopsis:

After helping a woman in distress, Akira Kurusu is accused of a crime he didn't commit and is forced to leave his hometown behind to start a new student life at Tokyo's Shujin High School.

On his first day of school, he runs into the troublemaker Ryuji Sakamoto, and they wind up in a mysterious "Palace" whose king is Kamoshida, a corrupt teacher. There, imbued with the flames of rebellion, Akira awakens the power of his "Persona".

The boys manage to escape thanks to Morgana, a mysterious cat. However, in the real world, Kamoshida's mischief causes a terrible misfortune...
