RAFAEL MORERA Y MÒNICA PUENTES (Barcelona, 1972, 1974)

Rafael and Mònica are a couple living in Barcelona. A friend commissioned them in 2008 writing a text to go along with some illustrations for children. Since then, joining his vocation –poetry- with hers –children’s education– they have written together almost thirty stories for children. Some of them have been created from pure imagination, whereas others, as it is commonly said, are based on true events and on people with flesh and blood.

They are the authors, among others of the story El pingüino Marcelino de color azul marino, illustrated by Oriol San Julián and published by Ediciones Babylon.
